Synchronous and Live Activities

A defining feature of Cabin Weekend has been convening the entire group for some specific activities, particularly meals. These are the activities that will be available live, and we hope to have folks join us so we can do some of this stuff together.

All scheduled times are central time, don’t forget to adjust if you’re in another time zone!

Please take a moment to see how we will be using Zoom this weekend, to make your visit to the cabin a little more free and fun.

If you or a member of your Cabin Weekend party wishes to partake in CabinCraft (aka Minecraft: Cabin Weekend style), the server is 207.153.17.95:26620
Make sure you are running Java version 1.16.1 and let us know the Minecraft user names to whitelist.

Please share your photos and videos with us via whatever platform you’re comfortable with. And if you’re okay with us sharing links with other attendees, let us know.

6:00-8:00 pm
Eat your chili dinner (or whatever you’ve made) and visit with the other Cabin Weekend attendees. Catch up with folks you don’t see very often.

If we can get the Zoom breakout room feature working right, we’ll have some options for smaller groups.

Friday Night Games
8:00 pm until everyone goes to bed
Meet up on Zoom to decide what games you want to play and where.

We’re planning on using a combination of Tabletop Simulator, Board Game Arena and games we can play through Zoom. This is also a little test run of what game nights will look like going forward.

Want to hang out while slicing your tin dinner veggies and preparing your tin foil? Need to consult with the master to ensure your coals are ready? Steve will be available to help you out!

Tin Dinners and Slideshow Together
6:30-8:00 pm
We’ll all gather to eat our tin dinners (or whatever you’ve chosen to have if not indulging in the tin dinner tradition). We’ll be sharing 26 years of Cabin Weekend memories.

We ask that gamers take a break to join us for this.
